  • Biography Rev. Dr. Gladys Martinez Weydert, founder of New Covenant Ministries & Fellowship, as well as New Covenant Weddings, is an ordained Christian minister, as well as a South Carolina Notary Public. She has been in ministry since 1994, when she began working in children's ministry, and doing one-to-one lay-counseling with women and couples. Dr. Weydert is a Bible-studies teacher, and became a Precept Ministries Leader, teaching the Word of God in Sunday Schools and to others in small groups. In 1999, she graduated from Andersonville Theological Seminary (Camilla, Georgia) with a degree in Biblical Studies, and also completed the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling program, and is a Certified Pastoral Member; she now has completed her Doctorate in Pastoral Psychology at Trinity Institute of Christian Counseling in 2008. Dr. Weydert has a great interest in people of all faiths and all cultures. She is bilingual, and speaks fluent Spanish. She has been involved in wedding planning and ceremony writing since 1997, and, as of May, 2008, Dr. Weydert has performed over 600 weddings.
